~~Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles recorded Hank Williams’ “Your Cheatin’ Heart” to be featured in a Pepsi Max Super Bowl XLVI commercial. The 30-second spot titled “Check-Out” is part of the brand’s Cola Wars campaign and also features Regis Philbin.
~~ The 2012 leg of Dierks Bentley‘s Country & Cold Cans Tour launches April 13 in Los Angeles. Eli Young Band, Will Hoge and Cadillac Black will support in select markets. Tickets go on sale Feb, 10. Look for him in Baton Rouge at Bayou Country Superfest
~~ Trisha Yearwood will share some of her favorite Southern-style recipes during a six-episode cooking show for The Food Network.
The as-yet-untitled series will air in April and will feature Trisha sharing her family recipes for everything from Sunday dinners to family-reunion barbecues. The show is currently in production in Nashville.
Trisha has released two best-selling cookbooks, 2008′s Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen and 2010′s Home Cooking With Trisha Yearwood.
