News from Blake and Brooks
Blake Shelton has signed on for Season 3 of NBC’s ‘The Voice,’ along with all three of the other celebrity coaches — Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine.
Sources say Aguilera will receive $10 million for returning, while the other three judges will each see their current pay doubled to $6 million.
~~ Kix Brooks is going solo. He will release his first single, “New to This Town,” which features Joe Walsh, to radio on March 19.
(Brooks’ former duo Brooks & Dunn partner, Ronnie Dunn, released his debut solo single in early 2011.)
Kix says the song “New to This Town”….. “paints the powerful emotion we’ve all known, of lost love and the uncomfortable situation of running into that person again.”
