A 70-year-old man in Redding, CA shot his son because he didn’t like his country music karaoke singing.

His 50-year-old son was singing on his karaoke machine and his dad was getting annoyed.  He told his son, “I’m going to shut you up” before heading out to his truck to get his gun.

His son followed him out and dad shot him several times hitting him in shoulder, arm, and leg.

He was treated and released from the hospital.

Dad was arrested and thrown in jail for attempted murder.

His son says he doesn’t want to press charges against his dad.

No word on what song he was singing…
